Positive test results are always sent to the patient’s physician or medical care provider, the epidemiology staff at the Utah Department of Health and to the local health department where the patient resides. This applies regardless how or where a specimen is collected.
There are two primary ways a COVID-19 test result is communicated. 1) sent by email with the address collected during registration for the drive through or mobile collection events. 2) provided to you by your physician or care facility when a test is ordered by them.
